The carriage's doors flew open. Silence. A noble looking man, wearing a white outfit with golden sewing and buttons, stepped out. His hair was greying. He looked around himself and, with a worried expression, he hurried into the castle. With a boom, the castle's doors shut behind him. Realizing that was the king, Lilliana was in awe as she stared after him. But why was he worried?

Liliana hurried out of Miss Stalerart shop knowing that more work might be handed to her if the seamstress caught her. As soon as she got out she went right up to the castle gates and stared longingly at the beuty of the castle like she did every day at the end of work. The castle was an elegant white that shimmered off of the sun. The windows were light blue and matched the wonderful mote. The most magnificent feature of the castle though was the doors. The doors were silver with gold handle bars. The doors opened to something new and facinating, something no commoner had seen before. The doors had a meaning, a purpose, and definetley was what caught every comoners attention, not only Lilianas.
Clash! Suddenly the beutiful gates that Liliana was looking through opened. Surprised she moved out of the way. Several white horse pulling a carrage purly made of gold went through the gates and up to the doors. . Everyone waited ever so patiently for someone to come out.

Lilliana started her life as a commoner, this is true. She worked every day in several different jobs. Everything from shoeshining, selling wares, and running errands were fair game for her to do as a job. Lilliana would do these jobs in the town square which was right in front of the mighty castle of Elaville.

One fine spring day she was helping with the seamstress, sewing ribbons onto a lovely gown. As she was working, Lilliana was glancing up at the castle longingly. She dreampt of living in one of the tall spires, gazing out the window at the entire land. She would wear one of the fine dresses she helped with. Maybe even a nicer on--

"Lilliana! Get your head out of the clouds and keep sewing! Look! That ribbon is completely crooked!" Miss Stalerart shouted. "Lilliana, you dreamer. You'll never be a princess. The only time you'll ever step into the castle is when I'm escorting you to have you beheaded for slacking off! Get back to work!" Lilliana hurried back to the ribbons.

The princess' name was Liliana. This is the story about how she got the shoes. Listen well, because this story is much more interesting than it sounds. Liliana wasn't always a princess: she was just a commoner in Elaville. This is how her tale begins.
